The people of Tipton Kansas are good hearted, strong willed people that refuse to give in to the economic hard ships that have stocked them over the last few decades. The Mayor of Tipton, Adrian Arnoldy is a visionary man that realized if the town gave up its elementary school the remainder of the town would also disappear. When the school district said it was time to close the Tipton Elementary the citizens banded together to build their own elementary funded and constructed by volunteers from the community.

Even more amazing is the fact that they finished the task in 60 days!
